Paheke,
Paheke; the old house built in 1862 is a New Zealand Historic Places Trust listed property. The house has retained all of its charm and character. The old rooms with their high ceilings and old polished floor boards have been filled with furniture of the period.
The accommodation is in the new wing of Paheke. Completed in 1996, this has been constructed in a style sympathetic to the old house, but with all the modern conveniences and luxuries.
